Where will I pick up my vehicle?
We have a number of suppliers at Alicante Airport. Centauro, Goldcar and Record all have offices in the Arrivals Hall of the airport. With these companies, once you've completed the paperwork and picked up the keys, it's a short walk over to the airport car park where your vehicle will be parked. With Drivalia and Solcar, the procedure is different. Drivalia operate a courtesy minibus service between the terminal (level -2) and their compound, which is located a couple of km off airport. Solcar will wait for you just outside of Arrivals for the delivery of the hire car.
Driving on from the airport
Once you’ve picked up your hire car at Alicante Airport (ALC), you’re perfectly placed to explore Spain’s beautiful Costa Blanca and beyond. The airport connects directly to the AP-7 motorway, making driving quick and easy. The city of Alicante is just 15 minutes (12 km) away, while the resort town of Benidorm lies about 45 minutes (58 km) to the northeast. Head south for Torrevieja in around 40 minutes (50 km), or drive inland to the charming city of Elche, only 25 minutes (25 km) away. With your rental car, the beaches, mountains, and villages of the Costa Blanca are all within easy reach.
